GREAT LAKES CREW will be performing at the inaugural Downtown SoundTrek in Toledo, OH this Friday, July 22nd! The show is at Ottawa Tavern and will begin promptly at 10p.
Downtown SoundTrek features thirteen great venues and businesses that regularly feature live music, as well as more than 30 diverse live musical acts spanning the gamut – from rock, pop and hip-hop to folk and bluegrass, to blues, jazz, country, DJ & dance music, and more – all connected by three buses running a constant loop.
Wristbands get access to all venues and bus rides, and are $15 in advance (through Thursday 7/21), $20 day of, available only at ACGT offices and at the door (individual venue admission is $5).

Here is a very interesting study done by PRS for Music and the BPI chronicling music industry revenues for the past five years. Apparently artists aren’t losing much money from file-sharing; it’s the record labels that are. Oh, what a drag, dude!
