Great Lakes Crew Approves: Aloe Blacc
Aloe Blacc is an American soul singer, rapper, and musician. His first album, entitled Shine Through, was released by Stones Throw Records in 2006. I sense a strong influence here of Bill Withers. Not only is he a great singer, he is also an MC and is in a indie rap group called Emanon with MPC master Exile.
I heard this song recently, and it stuck in my head. I know we all feel like this sometimes.

Royce Da 5′9″ & Joey Buddens : 40/40
This is another piece of evidence to uphold the theory that Royce is really the best rapper alive, and the powers that be (Jay-Z, Wayne, Curtis) all secretly has him blacklisted so that nobody finds out!

Check this shit out!!! it is incredible!
Hailing from Santa Fe, is Beirut. Yes they are out of the Great Lakes Region, but definitely due to sweetness deserve our approval.
the musicality is great, main instruments range from accordions, fuglehorns, mandolins, ukuleles, glockenspiels, organs, garbage cans, and tambourines. These guys play it all and it sounds great!!
