The Land Of The Lakes is a FREE release from the Great Lakes Crew. Fully loaded with 17 new bangers, it marks the perfect mixtape for Summer.

Featuring remixes of tracks by Ohio natives The Sleeps and Chip Tha Ripper it has already become one of the top rated mixtapes on Datpiff.com.  Often described as a “Happy Wu-Tang Clan” the GLC brings energy to their performances, mixing influences of backpack and acid rap, and create a sound they describe as the 4th coast.

The album kicks off with the smash tracks “Ball Till I Fall”, and “Little Bit”, and takes you on a smooth cruise through the Land of The Lakes. Underground hip-hoppers are nuts for tracks “Rich & Famous” and the smooth familiar lakewater sound of “Yesterday’s Hero.”

The city of Toledo sits like a ship on the Maumee Bay of Lake Erie, which is a part of the grime and sunshine that is The Great Lakes. This full length record is a prime example of what Great Lakes Music represents and marked the beginning of a new regions cultivation and sound.
